The Young Scientist Award (YSA) Panel of the prestigious, triennial General Assembly and Scientific Symposium (GASS) of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) has recently selected Mr. Sherif Abdelhalim Shakib to receive a Young Scientist Award (YSA). Sherif is a teaching assistant from our Electromagnetics group, and he is doing his M.Sc. work under the supervision of Dr. Islam Eshrah and Dr. Essam Hashish. The award is to be presented at the 30th GASS, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey in August, 2011.
