1- Member of the promotion committee for professors and associate professors in Electronic Engineering from 1993 to 1997.
2- Member of the present promotion committee for professors and associate professors of Electronics at Al-Azhar University.
3- Member of the present promotion committee for professors and associate professors at the Atomic Energy Establishment.
4- Member of the present National Council on Basic Sciences at the Academy of Sciences.
5- Member of the present National Council on Nuclear Energy at the Academy of Sciences.
6- Engineering Representative for cooperation between Egyptian and Indian Universities and invited to lecture at three Indian Universities in the area of Laser and Plasma research in 1999.
7- Egyptian representative at the UNESCO scientific committee formed to plan the transfer of the Synchrotron Radiation Facility ) BESSY I from Berlin to the Middle East as a research center of excellence. Also a member of the Egyptian local committee established to suggest Egypt as the Host country. ( 2000-Present).
8- Member of the board of the Egyptian Atomic Energy Agency( 2000-2006).
9- I was the coordinator of an International Trial of mine detectors in Egypt, supervised by the UNDP , with the objective of choosing the best equipment available in the International Market to clear mines and explosives from the Second World War Zones.( 2007). 10- I was invited to attend an International meeting ( March 2008) held in Cairo to study the possibility of establishing Nuclear Energy Regional Centers to guarantee safe operation of Nuclear Power Reactors.
