As the term of office for the current EECE Department Chair - Professor Mahmoud EL-HADIDI - comes to an end on 31st July, 2012, the EECE Department will hold elections on Wednesday, 27th June, 2012, to select the new chairman. Three official nominees have been announced, namely:

Professor Mohamed Mahmoud RIAD                      - Electronics Group
Professor Mohamed Abou-El-Soud SULTAN        - Control Group 
Professor Mohamed Fathy ABOU-EL-YAZID         - Communications Group

In order for the EECE Staff and Support Staff to appreciate the vision and plans the candidates have in mind towards the enhancement of the EECE Department, a seminar has been held with the following schedule:

The event went very smooth with active participation from the audiance in the form of questions and suggestions. There was also particpation by Professor Aly HASHEM - Head of the Faculty of Engineering Election Committee - who kindly responded to the invitation extended to him.

We are all optimistic that the ideas and discussions conducted during the seminar will be of great help for the new EECE Department Chairman, who will be elected on 27th June, 2012.
