The EECE Department - headed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed RIAD - has organized a workshop on Tuesday, 20 November 2012, in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering Club. It addressed stakeholders from industry and other beneficiaries in the community and aimed at strengthening joint research activities. The workshop has been held under the auspices of the Dean of Engineering at Cairo University - Prof. Dr. Sherif MOURAD - and was attended by the Vice -Dean for Post-Graduate Studies and Research - Prof. Dr. Amr ADLY - and the Vice-Dean for Community Services - Prof. Dr. Hanfay EL-ZOHEIRY. Many faculty members attended the event, along with a number of interested researchers from the community. During the event, several EECE Staff made brief presentations of research activities currently underway.

It is hoped that such event - along with other activities - will further enhance the role of EECE and other Departments in Faculty of Engineering in the service of our nation.
