The EECE Department was honored by a visit from Prof. Dr. Edgar Sánchez-Sinencio - of Texas A&M University - on Thursday, 17th May. Prof. Sánchez met with Department Chairman - Prof. Mahmoud EL-HADIDI - and delivered a talk entitled "CLASS-D AMPLIFIERS: BASICS AND ONGOING PROJECTS" in the prestigious Hammam MAHMOUD Lecture Hall. Several EECE Staff attended the talk, as well as a number of undergraduate and graduate students. As is well-known, Prof. Sánchez leads a large group of researchers at Texas A&M, and has already supervised the Ph.D. of 8 Egyptian engineers, including Dr. Ahmed EL-ADAWY, Dr. Ahmed NADER, and Dr. Faisal EL-SEDIK who are EECE Staff members. The EECE Department extends a warm welcome and expresses its deep appreciation for Prof. Sánchez's visit.
