On 25th November 2020, the President of Cairo University appointed Prof. Khaled ELSAYED as the new Head of the EECE Department. With this decision, Prof. ELSAYED takes over the responsilbilty - from Prof. Hanan KAMAL - who have been leading the EECE Dept. through the challenges posed by the COVID-19, since its onset last March.

All members and affiliates of the EECE Dept. congratulate Prof. Khaled ELSAYED on assuming this prestigious position, and wish him great success in fufilling the goals and aspirations of the Department. We would also like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Prof. KAMAL, for her calm and decisive leadership of the EECE Dept. during a very turbulent and challenging period.
