This research area encompasses the following topics: Speech analysis and synthesis, speaker identification and verification, speech coding, speech recognition, speech processing over mobile systems, man-machine voice control, Voice over IP (VOIP), and image recognition, image compression.
Objectives:
- Applying DSP techniques in modern speech communication and image research and applications to reach to final products in the above topics.
Outcomes:
- (software and hardware products)
- Research papers to be submitted to prestigious conferences and journals
- About 10 M. Sc. And 3 Ph. D. theses.
